Inventor-Driven Commercial Facade Design

The project calls for a facade engineer expertised in Autodesk Inventor. Mainly the curtain-wall glazing and panelised cladding to the unified perimeter walls that tie the whole envelope together.

The workflow will start with concept modelling in Inventor, progress through detailed component drawings, and finish with a set of fabrication-level files that my installer can take straight to the shop floor. Please keep every model fully parametric so future sizing tweaks remain painless, and label all parts and assemblies clearly for export into our scheduling software.

Deliverables I must receive:
• Native Inventor (.ipt, .iam) files for each assembly and sub-assembly
• 2D shop drawings in DWG/PDF with dimensions, fixings, and material call-outs
• A brief calculation note or checklist confirming glass thicknesses, panel spans, and attachment details meet local commercial code requirements

I will provide basic site dimensions and elevation sketches as soon as we onboard; everything else, including concept refinement and detailing, starts with you. If you routinely integrate Inventor with analysis tools or BIM platforms, let me know—while not essential, that extra interoperability could speed our approvals.
