I’m gearing up for a new industrial build and I need a seasoned takeoff specialist to firm up our numbers before we break ground. The scope is strictly pre-construction, so your deliverables must give our estimating team the clarity they need to lock budgets and schedule subs with confidence.

Here’s what I’m counting on you to produce:
• Detailed material quantity takeoff suited for an industrial setting (structural steel, concrete, MEP, finishes, etc.).
• Corresponding cost estimate that reflects current market pricing in our region.
• Labor estimation broken down by trade, crew size, and anticipated hours.

Accuracy and traceability matter: I’ll want the takeoff tied back to the drawings with clear line references and a brief assumptions sheet so our internal reviewers can audit your numbers quickly.

You may use On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or another professional tool—just export the final files in Excel (or Sheets) plus a marked-up PDF. If you spot gaps or clashes while measuring, flag them; early insights here help the design team tighten the set before it goes out for bid.
