I need a compact, indoor-only training device that keeps my dog or cat within designated areas. The goal is simple behavior correction for containment, not trick teaching or general exercise. When a pet approaches or crosses a virtual or physical boundary, the unit should deliver a very mild shock stimulation—strong enough to deter, yet well within accepted animal-safety standards.

Here is what I’m looking for:

• A complete concept and schematic for the device, including sensor choice, power requirements, safety circuitry, and enclosure design.
• Firmware or control logic that triggers the mild stimulus reliably and only when intended.
• A brief user-setup guide so anyone can define or adjust boundaries indoors.

If you can add optional sound or light cues as secondary warnings before the stimulus, that’s a plus, but the core requirement is the safe, adjustable shock output geared specifically toward cats and small-to-medium dogs.

Please base your proposal on readily available components and outline any testing you plan to perform to confirm humane compliance and consistency. Drop me a message if you need clarification on room sizes, pet weights, or other practical factors.
