Implement in Shopify - Year-Long Free Shipping Membership

I run a Shopify store that sells only physical products and I want to introduce a paid membership that gives customers free standard shipping on every order for twelve months just like Amazon Prime membership. The perk must apply to my entire catalogue with no product exceptions and switch off automatically when the year is up.

Here is what I need done:

• Create or configure a “Free Shipping Pass” product that charges a one-time fee and immediately tags the customer so the shipping rate becomes $0 at checkout for the next 365 days.
• Automate tag removal (or any method you prefer) exactly one year later, along with a renewal-reminder email.
• Ensure the logic ignores other promotions and works with discount codes without stacking issues.
• Provide clear admin documentation showing how I can edit the price, change the duration later, or pause the program.
• Test everything in both desktop and mobile checkouts before going live.

I’m open to using existing Shopify apps or Shopify Functions, whichever delivers a seamless experience for shoppers and minimal ongoing maintenance for me.
