Hello website designery type people, I'm in a jam. I built a simple website through Go Daddy (www.wiprelationshipcounseling.com), and I do not want to do business with them any longer. I purchased a new domain with Hostinger because it was supposed to be easy to move my website over to them, but it turns out I can't just import my website because it wasn't built with Wordpress. I don't know how to use Wordpress. I don't have time to learn Wordpress right now. So I am looking for someone to rebuild my website for me. I can manage the site once it is up and running, so I think this is a pretty simple job.
The site would include the following sections:
Home
Our Team
Individual Therapy
Mindfulness Coaching
Parenting Guidance (I may or may not keep this one)
Retreats
Booking
Testimonials
Contact
I like the style of my current website (zen, mindful, peaceful, serene images, calming colors, but am totally open to new ideas as long as the vibe stays the same). I will have to write copy for some of the newer tabs I've added that are all just "coming soon" at the moment, but I will do that and can even add it in myself later if you can build the base for me. I think this is probably a few hours worth of work for someone who knows what the hell they are doing. Alas, I do not. (I'm a Therapist, Jim, not a website builder...)
Ideally you are:
- Experienced in designing informational websites.
- Proficient in SEO to enhance site visibility. (Full disclosure - I have no idea what SEO is, but freelancer.com suggested this, and I do want people to see my website, so here it is.)
- Able to communicate via email/phone/text and open to feedback.
- Nice/kind, reasonably priced, and honest. Please don't screw me over because this isn't my area of expertise. I'm not wealthy, and I'm trying to expand my business. I'd trade you for therapy if that was ethical, but it's not so money will have to do, just please don't gouge me.
- A sense of humor would be great. Patience with the questions my non-website-building-type brain might have would be awesome as well.
