Illustrated Kids' Books Website Build

I run a children’s book publishing house and need a modern, mobile-friendly website that captures our illustrated, playful style while making it effortless for parents and teachers to discover—and buy—our titles. The core structure is straightforward: Home, About, Books, Shop, Blog, and Contact. On the Books page I’ll start with three titles, each showing a cover, short description, and a few sample pages (PDF flip or lightbox is fine).

Selling happens in two ways, so the shop must handle both:
• a secure payment gateway for instant eBook checkout with automatic download delivery, and
• clear “Buy on Amazon / Apple / etc.” buttons that send visitors to those marketplaces.

Please build on a CMS that lets me add future books, swap banners, or write blog posts without touching code—WordPress with WooCommerce or a similarly simple setup is perfect, but I’m open to any platform that meets that ease-of-use goal. Performance, basic on-page SEO, and responsive design are non-negotiable; the site should load quickly on phones and tablets and pass Google’s mobile-friendly test. A newsletter signup (Mailchimp or comparable), social sharing, and an easy way to see sales/download reports will round things out.
