IoT/Embedded Mentor (Has a registered compan ) Needed for 10-Week Internship (Remote, ~2h/week)
Hi! I'm Star, an IoT System Development student at JENSEN Yrkeshögskola (Sweden). As part of my program, I need to complete a 10-week internship (LIA) from 28 September to 18 December 2026. I'm looking for an experienced IoT/embedded developer who is a registered business owner (sole proprietor or company) to act as my internship mentor.
How it works:
I work independently on my own IoT/embedded projects.
About 2 hours per week in total from you.
3–4 short stand-ups per week (about 10–15 minutes, video or voice call) to check progress and blockers.
The remaining time is for reviewing my code, technical documentation and progress.
Fully remote. I'm based in Germany/Sweden (CET), so flexible scheduling is possible.
You should state a fixed time for his availability—offering a minimum of 2 hours in the morning, afternoon, or evening—in case I have questions via chat. Please note, this does not mean you need to spend 2 hours with me daily; it is simply a window to ensure my questions get answered.
What the school requires from you:
Your company must be officially registered.
Signing the internship agreement.
A short mid-term and final assessment of my work.
My technical background:
C/C++, Arduino, ESP32, Pi, embedded prototyping, Python/Flask, PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, Git/GitHub.
Ideal mentor:
Professional experience in embedded systems and/or IoT (microcontrollers, sensors, MQTT, BLE/Wi-Fi, firmware, cloud connectivity).
Comfortable giving honest, practical feedback on code and documentation.
Communicates in English (Swedish or German is a plus).
Budget: for the full 10 weeks (fixed price)
If you're interested, please tell me briefly about your embedded/IoT experience, your company registration country, and your availability for the stand-ups.
Skills tags: Embedded Systems, IoT, C Programming, C++, ESP32, Microcontroller, Firmware, Arduino
