I need a complete mechanical and electronics design for a hybrid-type UAV that can lift and deliver up to 100 kg. The aircraft must take off and land vertically like a multirotor, then transition to fixed-wing flight for range and efficiency.
The work covers aerodynamic sizing, structural layout, propulsion selection for both lift and cruise, power distribution, and the full avionics stack. You should be comfortable switching between CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360 for the airframe and Altium or KiCad for the main power and control boards. Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, or comparable flight-control systems is a plus, as is the ability to run load, vibration, and thermal simulations.
Key deliverables:
• Detailed 3D CAD of the airframe, control surfaces, and 100 kg payload bay
• Propulsion and energy-storage sizing documentation with supporting calculations
• Schematic and PCB layout for a consolidated power/avionics board
• Weight-indexed bill of materials with supplier links
• Prototype build package, including manufacturing drawings and a brief ground/flight test plan
Files must be production-ready so I can move straight into prototyping. I’m prepared to iterate through two or three design cycles to meet performance targets. When you reply, please share examples of heavy-lift or VTOL drones you’ve helped bring from concept to hardware and note the simulation or design tools you’ll use.
