HTML to Custom WordPress website development -no theme builder

WordPress Developer – Marketing website Development using Custom Theme Development from Existing HTML.

Please note this is no ecommerce site or users needing login, this is a simple website for a company but has to be done using HTML we have and not theme builder.

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer/team to convert an already completed responsive website into a custom WordPress website.

What we already have:
• Completed Figma designs
• Desktop, tablet and mobile designs
• Fully developed responsive HTML/CSS/JS
• Approximately 20–22 pages already implemented in HTML
• All current design/assets

What we need:
• Convert the existing HTML into a lightweight custom WordPress theme
• Preserve the existing design, responsiveness and UI
• Use Gutenberg/native WordPress editor or another suitable lightweight editing approach — no Elementor/Divi or similar page builders
• Make normal content editable through WordPress (text, images, FAQs, testimonials, logos, services, etc.)
• CMS-driven Blog/Resources and Case Studies
• Contact and enquiry forms with lead capture/email notifications
• Downloadable resources/PDFs, including gated downloads where required
• Architecture that allows additional service pages and content to be added later

Quality requirements:
• Clean, well-structured and maintainable code
• Properly commented/documented where appropriate
• SEO-friendly implementation
• SEO plugin configured (e.g. Yoast/Rank Math or suitable alternative)
• Editable meta titles, descriptions, social metadata, etc.
• Good performance, responsive behaviour and basic security best practices
• Avoid unnecessary plugins/dependencies

NOTE:
Ownership, NDA & Deployment: The completed website/source code and all work produced under this project will be fully owned by us. An NDA will be required, and the project, source code, designs, screenshots, staging URLs, PDFs or any other project material must not be displayed, published, shared or used in the developer's portfolio, case studies, website, social media or any other promotional material, in any format. Final deployment and complete source-code handover are also part of the requirement.
All credentials/access created for the project belong to us(client), and the developer should not retain exclusive access after handover.
