My business is scaling and the people function now calls for dedicated ownership of three core areas: employee onboarding, structured induction programs, and ongoing training coordination. The position requires mid-level experience—you should already know the rhythm of HR operations and feel comfortable inside a modern cloud HR platform. I use a specific software (BrightHR), so the ability to pick up new software quickly and work inside predefined workflows is essential.
Scope of work
• Build each new-starter file in the HRIS, issue digital contracts and policy acknowledgements, and confirm all pre-employment checks are complete before day one.
• Run or schedule formal induction sessions during the first week, track attendance, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain the training matrix: book internal or external courses, upload certificates to the system, and flag upcoming renewals.
• Generate simple compliance and head-count reports on request.
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of onboarding tasks completed prior to a new hire’s start date.
• Induction attendance recorded for every employee within their first week.
• Training records and certificates kept fully up to date and audit-ready.
All SOPs, templates, and system access will be provided on award. Average weekly workload is 5–10 hours, with flexibility during hiring peaks.
