SYNOPSIS
A small mouse discovers an old treasure buried behind his village. Although tempted to keep the gold and silver for himself, he realizes that true treasure is something that can be shared. His honesty ultimately brings happiness to the entire village.

EXT. LITTLE MOUSE VILLAGE – MORNING
A cheerful little village comes alive. Birds chirp. Mice carry baskets of food. Children play near their tiny houses.
Behind one house, MILO, a small, curious mouse, digs in the soft earth.
MILO
Come on… there has to be something interesting here!
His shovel hits something hard.
CLINK!
Milo freezes.
He digs faster.
Suddenly, an old wooden TREASURE CHEST appears.
Milo’s eyes become huge.
MILO
Whoa!
He opens the chest.
Inside are GOLD COINS, SILVER, and beautiful old jewelry.
Milo stares in amazement.
MILO
I’m rich!
He quickly looks around to make sure nobody saw him.

INT. MILO’S HOUSE – LATER
Milo sits beside the treasure chest.
He picks up a shiny gold coin.
MILO
I could buy the biggest house in the village…
He imagines himself sitting in a giant mansion.
Then he hears something outside.
VILLAGER (O.S.)
The bridge is broken again!
Milo looks toward the window.

EXT. VILLAGE BRIDGE – DAY
Several villagers stand around a damaged wooden bridge.
An elderly mouse shakes his head sadly.
ELDERLY MOUSE
We don’t have enough money to repair it.
Milo quietly watches.
He looks at the gold coin in his paw.
Then he looks at the villagers.
A smile slowly appears on his face.

Milo stands before the villagers with the treasure chest.
Everyone gasps.
MILO
I found this behind my house.
The villagers gather around.
MILO (CONT’D)
At first, I wanted to keep it.
He looks down.

But this treasure can help everyone.
The villagers smile.

He looks at the celebrating villagers.
MILO (CONT’D)
Sharing it made everyone happy.
The elderly mouse smiles proudly.
ELDERLY MOUSE

Milo looks up at the sparkling stars.
