Chemical Engineer Needed for Home Care Product Formulation – Livio
We are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer / Formulation Chemist / Home Care Product Development Specialist to develop effective and commercially viable formulations for our upcoming home cleaning and hygiene brand, Livio.
About the Brand
Livio is a home care brand focused on delivering effective, high-quality and consumer-friendly cleaning and hygiene products. We are looking to work with a skilled freelance formulation expert who can help us develop safe, stable, cost-effective and market-ready products.
Scope of Work
The freelancer will be required to develop and guide us on formulations for products such as:
1. Glass Cleaner
2. Floor Cleaner
3. White Phenyl / Milky Floor Cleaner
4. Black Phenyl
5. Toilet Cleaner
6. Other home cleaning and hygiene products in the future
What We Need:
We are specifically looking for someone with experience in:
1. Home care and cleaning product formulation
2. Chemical engineering or industrial chemistry
Surfactants, solvents, emulsifiers, fragrances and preservatives
3. pH balancing and product stability
4. Raw material selection and compatibility
5. Cost-effective commercial formulations
6. Dilution ratios and manufacturing processes
7. Quality control and product testing guidance
8. Packaging compatibility
9. Scaling formulations from laboratory batches to commercial production
Deliverables
The selected freelancer may be required to provide:
1. Complete formulation with ingredient percentages
2. Detailed manufacturing process
3. Mixing sequence and operating instructions
4. Raw material specifications and recommendations
5. pH and quality control parameters
Stability and performance testing recommendations
6. Troubleshooting support during initial trials
7. Guidance for scaling the formulation to larger production batches
We are looking for a long-term collaboration, as Livio plans to expand its product portfolio continuously.
