We are looking for more than a normal software developer.
We need someone like an HL7 / healthcare integration engineer who can understand an old system, clean it up, and rebuild it safely in the new environment.
We want someone who can do these things:
- Understand HL7 — ADT, ORM, ORU, fields, routing, transforms.
- Understand Mirth / BridgeLink — channels, sources, filters, transformers, destinations.
- Read old code and old configuration and figure out what it really does.
- Document the current system instead of guessing.
- Find bad, duplicate, or dead rules and decide what should stay or go. The project specifically says every old channel/filter/transform must be inventoried, then mapped to a new cloud-Mirth version or retired.
- Build the new cloud Mirth system with one clean standard model instead of many messy site-specific rules.
- Work with Laurel Bridge Compass and Navigator for HL7/DICOM routing and image prefetch.
- Test very carefully before changing production. Our plan is to run the old and new systems together, compare messages field by field, and cut over only after validation.
-Troubleshoot independently.
