I run an online learning platform aimed squarely at the higher-education market and need someone who can take full ownership of our article workflow. At present we publish only written pieces—no videos or interactive modules—so your focus will be on planning, commissioning, editing, and releasing articles that resonate with university-level learners.
Subjects you’ll handle span Science and Technology, Humanities and Arts, and Business and Economics. That breadth means coordinating with a diverse pool of academic authors, fact-checking across disciplines, and shaping every piece so it meets scholarly standards while staying engaging and accessible.
Day-to-day you’ll be working inside our CMS, refining copy for clarity and SEO, scheduling releases, and tracking performance analytics to inform the next content cycle. Consistency of tone, proper citation, and on-brand visuals are all key.
Deliverables I expect each month:
• A detailed editorial calendar with proposed topics and deadlines
• Fully edited, ready-to-publish articles (including metadata and internal links)
• A short performance report highlighting wins, gaps, and data-driven next steps
Articles should hit agreed word counts, reference reputable sources, and follow our in-house style guide (APA citation base). If you have experience managing multi-disciplinary academic content and enjoy turning complex ideas into engaging reading, I’d love to hear how you’d approach the first 30 days.
