Gypsum/Wood Family Crest Plaques

I’m commissioning a small run of painted family-crest wall plaques with details and precised elements and need a skilled sculptor who is comfortable working in either gypsum or wood—I’m happy to use whichever material you feel brings out the finest detail. I already have the crest fully designed, complete with dimensions 5x40x60 cm and reference photos, so you can focus entirely on translating that artwork into a crisp, high-relief plaque.

Your portfolio is the key part of your pitch. Please link to past work that shows similar relief carving, casting, or heraldic pieces so I can quickly gauge fit and finish. A brief note on how you prefer to tackle projects like this—tools, carving methods, mould-making techniques, finishing options, and an estimated turnaround—will also help me plan the schedule.

Once we agree on the material and surface finish, the deliverables are straightforward:
• Master carving or mould for the crest.
• Final plaques in the agreed quantity, sealed and ready for display.
• Photos of each stage so I can sign off before you move on.
