Summary
I'm a solo healthcare consultant RN, BSN with 25 years of clinical experience interested in starting a certified government contracting business. I need help finalizing and designing TWO one-page capability statements- a standard marketing document used to introduce my business to federal/ state/ county contracting officers and small business specialists. These all look similar, as the info the govt needs is all that same, however looking for a bit of a catchy, unique, classy look that may help me to stand out.
WHAT I HAVE READY:
I have my company info, NAICS codes, cerfifications and background information. (there are still a few things in review, but numbers that can be added later). I have the draft written, just needing formatted.
I have a logo and colors: navy and gold brand colors. The logo might use a bit of help. I have a professional headshot ready to use.
I can share reference examples of capability statements I like the style of
WHAT I NEED:
- Light content polish- not a full re-write
I'd like professional eye on tightening the "About Us" core competencies and differentiators sections so they are concise and compelling.
I can use AI, but want a human to look at it.
- Clean, professional, one page layout incorporating my logo, colors, and headshot, following standard capability statement conventions: NAICS codes, differentiators, past performance, contact info- all scannable at a glance
DELIVERABLES:
- Final one page capability statement: editable source file +print-ready PDF +web friendly PDF
- Up to two rounds of revisions included
IDEAL FREELANCER:
EXPERIENCE with government contracting capability statements is a strog plus- familiarity with NAICS codes, SBA certifications and how contracting officers scan these documents. Please share samples of similar work.

What software do you use for layout- AdobeInDesign, Canva, or something else?
Based on the scope described, how many days would you need to deliver a first draft?
Are you comfortable doing light copy editig in addition to layout, or would you prefer t work strictly from finalized text?
