Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - German
Type:Contract
Compensation:$42/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Evaluate AI training data in German by auditing multilingual transcription and forced alignment tasks.
Review recordings and transcriptions to ensure accuracy, applying error codes and providing clear rationales.
Verify and correct audio segments for precise start and end timestamps, ensuring transcription alignment.
Work independently to deliver high-quality judgments with detailed written feedback.
Collaborate asynchronously, maintaining consistency across hundreds of judgments.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Native or near-native command of German as spoken in Germany.
Strong English reading and writing skills.
Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, or linguistic annotation.
Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.
Preferred
Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
Background in phonetics or linguistics.
Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
