Project Overview:
We are launching ABC Launch (African Business Catalyst Launch), a lightweight entrepreneurship training platform tailored for young entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The core concept is a $5/month membership where users complete 5 core course modules (pillars).
We need a skilled WordPress developer to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using reliable, out-of-the-box plugins to keep development fast and cost-effective.
- The site will be hosted on Kinsta (Google Cloud) and must be extremely clean, highly optimized for speed, and consume minimal mobile data for users on 3G/4G networks.
- Key Features to Implement:Membership & LMS: Set up a system (like MemberPress, LearnDash, or LifterLMS) with a subscription model ($5/month) and 5 sequential course modules.
- Gated Progression: Each lesson/module must be locked behind a Quiz. Users must score 100% on the quiz to unlock the next part.
- Daily Limitations: Implement a hard restriction where users can only take a maximum of 1 lesson per day (24-hour countdown timer).AI Integration (Claude 3.5 Haiku): Integrate the Anthropic Claude API (using plugins like AI Engine or Uncanny Automator). Users are limited to 5 questions per day.
- Crucial: The AI must retain chat history/context across all 5 modules, to help the user generate a complete Business Plan in Module 5 based on their previous answers.
- Payment Gateway: Integrate Flutterwave for recurring monthly subscription payments (Collections).
- TikTok Live Feature: A simple, dynamic "Join Live Draw" button in the navigation/hero section that opens external deep links directly in the user's TikTok mobile app.
Technical Requirements & Architecture:
- You must use existing plugins to minimize heavy custom coding and ensure lightweight database structures.Design & Theme: Strict "Mobile-First" minimalistic layout using lightweight builders like Bricks Builder or native Gutenberg Blocks with GeneratePress/Kadence (No heavy Divi or Elementor setups).
- All images must be optimized and served in WebP format to save user data.
Requirements for Freelancer:
- Proven experience with WordPress LMS and Membership plugins.Experience connecting Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI APIs with custom parameters and historical context retention.
- Experience with Flutterwave API integrations.Strong communication skills in English.
- Please provide examples of previous WordPress membership, LMS, or AI-integrated sites you have built.
Future Scalability Note:
While this initial phase is built entirely on WordPress to test the market, our long-term plan is to migrate the platform into a custom, lightweight framework (Flutter & Node.js/Supabase) once we surpass 20,000–50,000 active members. Candidates with experience in both WordPress LMS setups and future custom mobile app development/database migration are highly preferred, as we look for a long-term technical partner.
