French-Haitian Verbatim Transcription
Budget / SalaryHourly project
TypeFreelance project

I have a series of lecture recordings in French-Haiti that must be transcribed word-for-word. The content will be turned into educational material, so every utterance—including false starts, repetitions, and filler words—needs to be captured accurately.
Scope
• Approximately X hours of audio (I’ll confirm the exact total once we start).
• Purely educational lectures; no interviews or panel discussions.
• Verbatim style required—nothing cleaned or summarised.
What I provide
• Download links to the audio files.
• A simple style guide for speaker labels, timestamps, and formatting.
What I expect from you
• Native-level command of French as spoken in Haiti.
• Proven experience with verbatim transcription.
• Consistent formatting, correct spelling, and clear speaker identification.
• Delivery in an editable text file (DOCX or plain TXT) with timestamps every 30 seconds.
Helpful tools (your choice)
Express Scribe, oTranscribe, or any professional transcription software you prefer, as long as final output meets the style guide.
Timeline
Once the project is awarded, I’d like the first hour delivered within 48 hours so we can align on format and accuracy; the remaining hours can follow on a mutually agreed schedule.
If you are meticulous, comfortable with Haitian accents, and able to meet tight deadlines, I’d love to hear from you. Please share a brief note on your relevant experience and a sample, if available.
