Freelancer Client Web Marketplace

I plan to launch a web-based marketplace that directly connects freelancers with clients, allowing both sides to post, discover, and complete projects in one place. The core build centres on three must-have capabilities:

• User profiles – Each freelancer and client needs a dedicated page that shows skills, portfolios, ratings, and project history, editable after secure sign-up or social login.
• Project search system – Fast, filterable browsing by skill, budget, timeline, and keyword so users can quickly match with relevant work or talent.
• Integrated payments – Escrow-style checkout, fee calculation, and automated payouts once milestones are approved, with basic dispute handling and transaction logs.

Please code it as a responsive web app with clear separation of front-end and back-end. You’re free to choose the stack (React, Vue, or similar for UI; Node, Laravel, Django, etc. for the API) as long as it is well-documented, modular, and easy to maintain.

Acceptance criteria
1. All three core features work end-to-end on modern browsers.
2. New user onboarding takes no more than two minutes from sign-up to completed profile.
3. Payments run in sandbox mode without errors and record status changes in the database.
4. Code is pushed to a Git repository with a concise README for local setup and deployment.

That’s the scope for the first release; further enhancements such as messaging and rating analytics will follow once the foundation is solid.
