Freelance WordPress & Elementor Developer Needed – Voucher Deals Platform -- 2

I’m looking for an experienced freelance WordPress and Elementor developer to help build a two-part voucher deals platform similar in concept to Groupon, Daddy Deals, FOMO, and Hyperli in South Africa.

Project Overview

The platform will consist of two separate websites/platforms that work together:

1. Customer-Facing Deals Website
2. Merchant Voucher Redemption Portal

I already have a website template set up in Elementor, and the entire project must be developed using WordPress + Elementor. This is important because I am most familiar with Elementor and need to be able to manage the platform myself after development.

Using Elementor should allow me to easily add, edit, remove, and manage new deals submitted by our subscribers/service providers.

Website 1: Customer-Facing Deals Platform

This will be the main website where customers can browse available deals, make purchases, and receive vouchers.

Types of Deals

The platform will feature a variety of deals and experiences, including:

* Spa and wellness packages
* Bungee jumping experiences
* Accommodation specials
* Quad biking adventures
* Boat cruises
* Restaurants and dining experiences
* Activities and entertainment
* Travel and holiday packages
* Beauty and lifestyle services
* And other discounted products and services

Customer Journey

The basic process should be:

Browse Deal → Select Deal → Purchase → Receive Voucher → Redeem Voucher

After a successful purchase, the customer should automatically receive a digital voucher containing the necessary information for redemption.

Website 2: Merchant Portal

The second website/platform will be used by merchants and service providers who participate in the deals marketplace.

Merchants should have their own secure login where they can:

* Log into their merchant account
* View voucher redemptions
* Enter or scan voucher codes
* Validate whether a voucher is genuine and unused
* Confirm/redeem the voucher
* Prevent the same voucher from being redeemed more than once
* View their redemption history

The system should provide a simple and user-friendly interface that does not require technical knowledge.

Key Functional Requirements

1. WordPress + Elementor

* The entire platform must be built using WordPress and Elementor
* I should be able to manage the website without relying on a developer for everyday tasks
* Easy management of deals, images, descriptions, pricing and availability

2. Deal Management

I need an easy back-end system where I can:

* Add new deals
* Edit existing deals
* Remove/deactivate deals
* Set original and discounted prices
* Set deal expiry dates
* Set voucher validity periods
* Add deal limits/quantities where required
* Upload images and descriptions
* Manage participating merchants

3. Online Payments

The customer platform should support secure online payments and automatically trigger voucher generation after successful payment.

4. Voucher Generation

After a successful purchase:

* A unique voucher should automatically be generated
* The voucher should contain a unique voucher/reference number or QR code
* The voucher should be delivered to the customer electronically
* The voucher should be linked to the specific deal and merchant
* Each voucher should only be redeemable once

5. Voucher Redemption

Merchants should be able to:

* Log into their portal
* Enter a voucher code or scan a QR code
* Immediately see whether the voucher is valid, expired, already redeemed or invalid
* Redeem/mark the voucher as used
* View their previous redemptions

6. Merchant Accounts

The system should allow me to:

* Create and manage merchant accounts
* Assign deals to specific merchants
* Activate/deactivate merchants
* View merchant voucher redemptions
* Monitor voucher activity

7. Customer Accounts

Customers should ideally be able to:

* Create an account
* Log in
* View their purchased vouchers
* Download/retrieve vouchers
* View their purchase history

8. Responsive Design

The entire platform must work properly on:

* Desktop
* Laptop
* Tablet
* Mobile phones

The customer experience should be particularly optimized for mobile users.

I would also like an administrative dashboard where I can monitor:

* Total sales
* Number of vouchers sold
* Number of vouchers redeemed
* Unredeemed vouchers
* Expired vouchers
* Sales by deal
* Sales by merchant

The system should make it easy to manage the overall marketplace from one central WordPress administration area, where possible.

Important Development Requirement

WordPress + Elementor is a non-negotiable requirement.

I already have an Elementor template and want to continue using this platform because I need to be able to manage the website myself after the project is completed.

I am therefore looking for someone who has strong practical experience with WordPress, Elementor, e-commerce, voucher/coupon systems, payment integration and custom WordPress development.

Please do not apply if your primary experience is with other platforms such as Shopify, Wix, Laravel, React, etc. The core platform must remain WordPress + Elementor.
