About the Show
Just N Life with Nekia Nichelle is a lifestyle and entertainment television series bringing together meaningful conversations, culture, wellness, beauty, fashion, food, entrepreneurship, and everyday inspiration.
The show combines the warmth of a lifestyle program with the energy of a modern talk show, creating partnership opportunities across broadcast television, streaming, digital content, editorial coverage, social media, creator-driven media, and live or experiential extensions.
As the show grows, we are expanding our ability to connect brands with relevant stories, trusted conversations, and culturally meaningful content.
Who We're Looking For
We are not looking for a traditional advertising salesperson who only sells commercial spots or waits for leads to be provided.
We are looking for an experienced, relationship-driven partnership seller who already understands how brands invest in modern media, branded entertainment, sponsorships, integrated marketing, and cross-platform storytelling.
The ideal candidate enters this opportunity with an active and relevant book of business that includes established relationships with brands, advertising and media agencies, CMOs, brand marketing executives, media buyers, partnership leaders, public relations agencies, and sponsorship decision-makers.
This person must know how to open the right doors, identify a brand's business objectives, develop a compelling partnership concept, present the opportunity, negotiate the terms, and move the relationship toward a signed and paid agreement.
This is not an entry-level sales opportunity. It is designed for a proven closer who can confidently represent a growing television property and develop meaningful, high-value partnerships.
The Role
The Freelance Integrated Brand Partnerships & Sponsorship Revenue Specialist will be responsible for originating and closing paid sponsorships and brand integrations for Just N Life with Nekia Nichelle.
The primary focus is selling brands into the show through segment sponsorships, season partnerships, presenting sponsorships, category exclusivity, branded entertainment, product or service integrations, and customized cross-platform opportunities.
This role is different from selling an individual marketing campaign. The selected specialist must be able to sell the larger value of the show, its content, its audience, its intellectual property, and its television, digital, social, editorial, and experiential extensions.
The specialist will manage the revenue-development process from the initial relationship and discovery conversation through proposal development, negotiation, closing, payment coordination, and partnership handoff.
What You Will Sell
Partnership opportunities may include:
Individual sponsored television segments
Recurring branded segments
Full-season sponsorships
Presenting or title sponsorships
Whole-show sponsorship opportunities
Category-exclusive partnerships
Branded-content and branded-entertainment integrations
Product or service integrations within approved segments
Expert, spokesperson, or thought-leadership integrations
Sponsored demonstrations and lifestyle features
Sponsored resource guides or audience experiences
Custom broadcast integrations
Television and digital content packages
Social media and creator-led extensions
Editorial and website extensions
Event, experiential, and community activation opportunities
Approved multi-platform packages across the broader Nekia Nichelle Media Ecosystem
All partnership concepts, pricing, benefits, editorial involvement, talent usage, category exclusivity, and deliverables are subject to company approval.
Core Responsibilities
Generate Sponsorship Revenue
Originate, develop, and close paid sponsorships and integrated brand partnerships.
Use existing brand and agency relationships to introduce qualified partnership opportunities.
Build new relationships with prospective sponsors and agency decision-makers.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified brands with the ability and intent to invest.
Focus on revenue-producing conversations rather than general networking without a defined business opportunity.
Sell High-Level Show Integrations
Position the show as a premium media and branded-storytelling opportunity.
Sell segment, season, presenting, category, and whole-show sponsorships.
Develop customized concepts that connect a partner's objectives with the show's content and audience.
Package broadcast visibility with approved digital, social, editorial, creator, and experiential extensions.
Clearly communicate the difference between a basic media placement and a fully integrated brand partnership.
Lead the Sales Process
Conduct discovery conversations with brand and agency decision-makers.
Identify the prospect's audience, campaign, visibility, storytelling, and business objectives.
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and sponsorship recommendations.
Respond to objections and guide prospects toward the appropriate partnership level.
Negotiate approved commercial terms and move qualified opportunities toward closing.
Follow up consistently without allowing viable opportunities to stall.
Coordinate the completion of partnership agreements and payment requirements.
Maintain and Activate a Book of Business
Bring an active network of relevant brand, agency, and sponsorship relationships.
Re-engage appropriate existing contacts with tailored opportunities for the show.
Maintain professional, long-term relationships that can generate renewals and expanded partnerships.
Identify brands whose products, services, expertise, or audience objectives align naturally with the show.
Protect confidential information belonging to current or former employers and comply with any valid contractual restrictions.
Develop Partnership Concepts
Work with leadership and production representatives to develop partnership-ready show opportunities.
Translate show concepts into clear, buyer-friendly sponsorship packages.
Recommend new recurring segments, categories, or content franchises that could support partner investment.
Balance partner objectives with the show's creative direction, editorial integrity, audience trust, and production capabilities.
Avoid promising deliverables, results, exclusivity, talent participation, editorial coverage, or usage rights without written approval.
Manage the Pipeline and CRM
Record all leads, contacts, conversations, proposals, follow-ups, and deal stages in the company's designated CRM.
Maintain accurate contact and company information.
Document the source and ownership of each opportunity.
Provide reliable revenue projections and pipeline updates.
Identify stalled deals, next actions, decision-makers, objections, and expected closing dates.
Keep company leadership informed of material developments, risks, and partnership requests.
Support Partnership Handoff and Retention
Provide the production and fulfillment teams with a complete summary of sold deliverables.
Participate in the partnership kickoff and handoff process when needed.
Maintain the commercial relationship while internal teams manage approved fulfillment.
Help identify renewal, upsell, extension, and long-term partnership opportunities.
Support post-partnership conversations that demonstrate value and encourage repeat investment.
Revenue-Share Compensation
This is a freelance, performance-based revenue-share opportunity.
The selected specialist will receive 20% of qualifying gross partnership revenue actually collected by the company from eligible partnerships the specialist personally originates and closes.
There is:
No base salary
No hourly wage
No guaranteed minimum
No employee benefits
No payment for unsigned proposals
No revenue share on funds that are not received by the company
The specialist's written independent-contractor agreement will define:
What constitutes qualifying partnership revenue
How the company determines lead and account ownership
Requirements for documenting a sourced opportunity
Treatment of company-provided leads
Credit for jointly developed or jointly closed opportunities
Revenue-share eligibility for renewals, extensions, and upsells
Treatment of existing company accounts and previously active prospects
Payment timing after partner funds are received
Treatment of payment plans and installment payments
Treatment of cancellations, refunds, credits, nonpayment, and chargebacks
Treatment of separately itemized taxes and approved third-party pass-through costs
Any revenue-share rights following the end of the freelance engagement
Revenue-share payments will be calculated only on qualifying funds actually received and cleared by the company, subject to the final written agreement.
Availability and Communication
Candidates must maintain reliable availability Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Central Time.
This does not mean the specialist will be scheduled continuously throughout the entire five-hour window. However, the specialist must generally be reachable and able to schedule prospect meetings, partner calls, sales follow-ups, proposal discussions, and internal coordination during these core business hours.
The selected specialist must:
Respond to time-sensitive business communications professionally and promptly
Attend scheduled partnership and pipeline meetings
Communicate through the company's approved communication channels
Keep calendars and availability current
Meet proposal, follow-up, reporting, and documentation deadlines
Notify the appropriate contact in advance when availability materially changes
Some partner meetings or special opportunities may fall outside the standard availability window and will be coordinated in advance when possible.
Required Experience
At least five years of relevant experience in sponsorship sales, media sales, branded entertainment, integrated marketing, brand partnerships, advertising sales, or business development
An active and relevant book of business with brand, agency, media-buying, or sponsorship decision-makers
A demonstrated record of personally originating and closing paid partnerships
Experience selling customized sponsorships rather than only predetermined advertising inventory
Experience presenting to senior brand, marketing, agency, or corporate decision-makers
Understanding of television, digital media, branded content, social media, creator marketing, and integrated campaigns
Strong negotiation, presentation, relationship-management, and closing skills
Ability to develop proposals and communicate the commercial value of a partnership
Experience managing a sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet agreed deadlines
Reliable computer, internet connection, telephone access, and professional virtual-meeting environment
Availability Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Central Time
Preferred Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Experience selling television, streaming, podcast, publisher, entertainment, or creator-led sponsorships
Current relationships with national or regional consumer brands
Current relationships with advertising, media, experiential, multicultural, or public relations agencies
Experience closing segment, season, presenting, category-exclusive, or multi-platform sponsorships
Experience working with lifestyle, entertainment, beauty, wellness, fashion, food, travel, financial services, technology, automotive, retail, or entrepreneurship-focused brands
Experience developing five- or six-figure custom media partnerships
Familiarity with partnership agreements, media kits, sponsorship decks, pricing structures, usage rights, category exclusivity, and fulfillment requirements
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will be measured through:
Qualified brand and agency conversations
Decision-maker meetings secured
Value of the active sales pipeline
Sponsorship proposals presented
Partnerships contracted
Partnership revenue collected
Closing rate
Accuracy of CRM and pipeline records
Quality of internal partnership handoffs
Sponsor retention, renewals, and expanded agreements
Professional representation of the show and company
Activity without qualified movement toward revenue will not be considered sufficient performance.
What We Expect
We are looking for someone who is polished, persuasive, proactive, accountable, and commercially sharp.
You should be comfortable initiating conversations, asking direct business questions, discussing budgets, following up consistently, negotiating value, and closing agreements.
You must understand that a strong book of business is more than a list of names. It means maintaining credible, active relationships with people who trust your judgment and are positioned to consider legitimate sponsorship opportunities.
Confidentiality, communication, documentation, and integrity are essential. The specialist may have access to unreleased show concepts, sponsorship pricing, prospective partner information, talent information, production plans, and other confidential business materials.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced partnership professional who wants to help build a growing television property and earn directly from the revenue they generate.
Independent-Contractor Relationship
This is a freelance independent-contractor engagement and not an offer of employment.
The selected specialist is responsible for their own applicable taxes, insurance, business expenses, equipment, and other independent-contractor obligations unless otherwise stated in the written agreement.
The specialist may not sign agreements, alter approved pricing, promise editorial coverage, commit production resources, grant usage rights, approve category exclusivity, or otherwise legally bind the company without prior written authorization.
How to Apply
Please submit:
