Project Overview
I need a developer to build an automation script or small utility that takes an Excel spreadsheet of owner names and performs structured lookups in a County GIS system to extract:
The Short‑Term Rental (STR) property address
The owner’s official mailing address
Parcel ID and ownership details (if available)
This tool will streamline STR owner identification and contact workflows.
Core Requirements
The script must:
Read owner names from an Excel file
Automatically search each name in the county GIS system
Extract:
STR property address
Owner mailing address
Parcel ID
Handle:
Multiple parcels under one owner
Name variations (middle initials, spouses, LLCs, trusts)
Export results into Excel/CSV or a structured dataset
Optional: LandGlide / LandID Integration
LandGlide or LandID may be used as a secondary validation tool to:
Confirm parcel ownership when GIS results are ambiguous
Cross-check mailing addresses
Verify parcel boundaries
Validate owner type (individual, LLC, trust)
Provide fallback data when GIS search is inconsistent
Note: GIS remains the primary authoritative source.
LandGlide/LandID is for verification only, not scraping.
