Digi-VUE Advertising Agency seeking a skilled Web Designer who can expertly bridge the gap between AI-driven design tools and production-grade WordPress environments. In this role, you will leverage the Claude Design UI Web interface alongside premium theme libraries (like Envato) to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver optimized, developer-ready assets.
Your core objective will be to translate AI-assisted visual mockups into clean, high-performance web structures that integrate flawlessly with our engineering team's WordPress workflow.
Role Overview
As our Claude Design Specialist, you will spearhead our hybrid design workflow. You will use the Claude Design UI Web workspace to kickstart layouts, pull in foundation elements from Envato or internal Claude templates, and then programmatically custom tokens via skill.md scripts. You are responsible for ensuring that what looks perfect in the AI canvas translates seamlessly into structured blocks, clean CSS, and optimized asset packages for our WordPress developers.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Assisted Layout Engineering: Utilize the Claude Design UI Web ecosystem to generate, refine, and stress-test high-fidelity web page mockups.
Template Integration: Source, modify, and inject starter components from Envato or native Claude repositories, blending pre-built structures with custom brand identity.
WordPress Developer Handoff: Package layout exports so they are structured for rapid developer ingestion, translating design decisions directly into theme-compatible styles.
WordPress Architecture Preparation: Align Claude Design layouts with WordPress conventions, ensuring layout grids match Block Editor frameworks and theme.json styling structures.
Performance & Hosting Optimization: Prep and optimize visual assets (SVGs, WebP images, custom web typography) specifically tailored to the caching and performance constraints of premium WordPress hosting environments.
System Automation: Use Markdown instruction blocks (skill.md) within Claude to automatically validate accessible contrast ratios, semantic HTML hierarchies, and responsive scaling before handing assets to engineering.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of professional web design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing modern, conversion-focused websites.
AI Tooling Foundation: Hands-on experience using the Claude Design UI Web interface to prototype, chat with, and adjust live visual components.
Template Ecosystems: Proficient in navigating and dissecting UI kits from Envato Elements, Figma community libraries, or native AI templates.
WordPress Ecosystem Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of WordPress themes, global style variations, and block patterns.
Frontend Basics: Strong command of semantic HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind, and responsive design systems.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Experience using image compression, SVG optimization, and web font loaders to build lightweight frontends.
