We are launching a new football analysis and storytelling YouTube channel called The Football Take.
For our first video, we are looking for a skilled video editor to turn our completed script and voiceover into a polished, engaging football analysis video.
What We Will Provide:
Complete final script
Professional AI-generated voiceover
Channel logo/branding
Thumbnail/reference direction
Editorial direction and key arguments
Some visual assets where available
What We Need From the Editor
Create the complete 8–10 minute YouTube video, including:
Football footage and relevant match clips
Player photographs/images where appropriate
Tactical diagrams and football graphics
Statistics/achievement graphics where useful
Motion graphics and text animations
Appropriate transitions
Strong sound design
Background music
Pacing that follows the narration and builds toward the final debate
The visuals should actively support what is being said rather than simply placing random football clips over the voiceover.
Style We're Looking For
Think premium modern football media / documentary analysis, rather than a traditional football compilation.
We want:
Cinematic + analytical + engaging + clean
The video should have visual variety, but shouldn't feel artificially over-edited. We prefer strong football footage, tactical visuals and purposeful graphics over excessive transitions and effects.
AI-generated visuals can also be used where they genuinely improve the storytelling.
Important
This is not just a basic editing job.
We want an editor who understands football and can make independent visual decisions about what should be shown while the narration is playing.
Copyright-conscious sourcing is important. We don't want the video to simply rely on random clips downloaded from YouTube/social media.
Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, CapCut or AI-assisted editing tools is welcome.
First Project
This is initially a one-video project.
If the final video meets our quality expectations, there is potential for regular editing work on future videos for The Football Take.
