Flutter Map Tracking App Build

I’m developing a cross-platform Flutter application that centers on location services. The core feature set is an interactive map that offers real-time tracking and turn-by-turn navigation, plus geofencing that fires events whenever a user enters or leaves predefined zones.
The back end will live on Supabase with its PostgreSQL database, so you’ll connect the Flutter front end to Supabase for authentication, live position storage, and event logging. Google Maps or Mapbox—whichever you work fastest with—can power the mapping layer, provided it supports smooth location updates and low-latency WebSocket or stream channels.
Flow I need:
• User signs in, grants location permission, and sees their live position on the map.
• Movement is tracked continuously with minimal battery impact.
• When a geofence boundary is crossed, the event is written to Supabase/Postgres and optionally triggers a webhook.
Acceptance criteria
• Reliable real-time tracking (sub-second updates in urban tests)
• Accurate geofence enter/exit detection recorded in the database
• Clean, well-commented Dart code, SQL schema, and a short README explaining setup and deployment
If you can add basic unit tests or outline hooks for future AI analytics, that’s a bonus. Please share a link or short video of a similar navigation or geofencing project you’ve completed and let me know your estimated timeline.
