Android Field Snaglist App

I need a lightweight Android application that lets my field workers create a visual snaglist directly from their phones. The core flow is simple: open the app, snap a photo of any on-site issue, draw or write quick annotations on top of that image, then save it to a local list that can later be synced when the device is online.

The interface has to be no-frills so workers can move fast—camera, annotation tools, and a clear “save” action are front and centre. Everything else can sit behind a menu. I am not looking for a cross-platform build; this is Android-only, so feel free to lean on native components or Jetpack libraries to keep performance smooth even on mid-range devices.

Optional extras such as checklist management or GPS tagging aren’t required for the first release, but I’d like the code structured cleanly enough that those features could slot in later without a rewrite.

Deliverables:
• Signed APK ready for Google Play internal testing
• Clean, well-commented source code in a Git repo
• Brief readme covering build steps and any third-party libraries used

I will test usability on a few field devices; acceptance is complete when photos can be taken, annotated, stored offline, and reopened with annotations intact.
