Fix WooCommerce Checkout Failures

I run https://ldvpartsdirect.com/, a WordPress-WooCommerce store for LDV car parts. Stock control is handled with the ATUM Inventory Management plug-in and payments go through the TYL banking gateway.


Lately, confirmed buyers hit “Place order” only to meet a technical/server error and the transaction stalls. No payment is captured, no WooCommerce order is created, and our stock levels stay unchanged. The error messages appear in the browser and in the WooCommerce logs, so we know it’s not a silent failure—yet my part-time techs haven’t been able to trace the root cause.

Here’s what I need:
• Diagnose why WooCommerce is blocking or timing-out at checkout.
• Pinpoint whether the fault lies in the theme, the ATUM plug-in, TYL’s API, or server configuration (PHP, MySQL, caching, etc.).
• Implement a clean fix, test thoroughly, and document exactly what was changed so future updates don’t break it again.
• Confirm that a successful order reduces inventory in ATUM, triggers the TYL payment, and sends the usual customer/admin emails.
