I need an experienced freelancer to help finish setting up the official WhatsApp Cloud API for my business, LOOP Solutions.
Current situation
- The Meta developer app and WhatsApp Business Account have been created.
- The Bahrain phone number +973 36980698 is added but remains unverified.
- Since October 17, Meta has blocked verification-code requests with error #2494158 (“too many verification code requests”).
- On October 22, a Graph API voice-code request returned success: true, but no call or code arrived.
- The phone number is not currently registered in WhatsApp Messenger or WhatsApp Business.
- A Meta support case was closed without a human resolution, and the developer community post remains unresolved.
Scope
Please review the existing Meta setup and:
1. Identify the likely cause of the verification failure and check whether the number or WABA has any setup issues.
2. Advise whether it is safe to request another code, and help complete verification if Meta allows it.
3. Finish configuring the existing Meta app and WhatsApp Cloud API.
4. Test sending and receiving a message, and provide clear handover instructions.
Required experience
Please have verifiable experience with Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, Graph API phone registration, Meta Business Manager, and WhatsApp verification errors. In your proposal, confirm whether you have handled error #2494158 or a similar “too many verification code requests” block.
