Fix Burning Circuit Breaker Issue

The main circuit breaker in my panel has started giving off a faint but noticeable burning smell each time it’s under load. I need an experienced electrician to diagnose why the breaker is overheating, repair or replace the faulty components, and confirm everything is operating safely once the work is complete.

Scope of work
• Inspect the panel, wiring, and breaker to pinpoint the heat source.
• Remedy the root cause—whether that means tightening connections, replacing the breaker, or addressing any underlying wiring defects.
• Conduct load-testing after the repair so the breaker can be reset without odor or excessive temperature rise.
• Provide a short written report summarizing findings, work performed, and test results, along with photos of the final installation for my records.
