Project Description
HappyMat(TM) is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems / Firmware Engineer for HappyMat Prototype #1.
You will be responsible for the prototype's embedded controller, firmware, sensor integration, LED control, digital display, wireless communications, and associated hardware/firmware integration.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and configure the embedded controller and firmware.
• Integrate pressure/presence sensing.
• Integrate addressable LED lighting.
• Integrate the digital display.
• Implement Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Implement Bluetooth/BLE connectivity.
• Support camera, speaker, and microphone integration.
• Coordinate with the IoT/interface engineer where applicable.
• Troubleshoot electronics and firmware during integration.
• Deliver applicable firmware/source code, configurations, and wiring information.
Preferred Skills / Experience ESP32 or Similar MCU; Embedded C/C++; Sensors; RGB/RGBW LEDs; Displays; Wi-Fi; BLE; Electronics Debugging; Soldering; Hardware/Firmware Integration
COMPENSATION - $700 USD FOR THIS TEAM MEMBER
Fixed Price: $700 USD for this individual position.
The selected professional for this position will receive $700 USD total for successful completion of the complete assigned scope.
HappyMat is assembling a multidisciplinary engineering team. Each team member is hired separately and each team member receives their own $700 USD fixed payment for their individual assigned scope.
The $700 payment is NOT shared or divided among the engineering team.
This is a fixed-price project, not an hourly position.
