Financial Records Desktop App

I need a Windows desktop application built specifically for managing financial records. Its core job is straightforward: pull in my raw figures, store them safely, then turn that data into clear, insightful reports and analytics I can act on every day.

Key workflow
• Import or enter transactions quickly (manual entry, CSV, or any standard feed you feel is efficient).
• Keep all records organised by date, category, and account.
• Generate on-demand and scheduled reports—profit & loss, cash-flow snapshots, trend charts, and any other analytics you recommend that help me spot patterns fast.
• Export reports to PDF and Excel.

I’m happy to discuss the stack, though a solution that feels native to Windows—think C#/.NET, WPF, WinUI, or similar—will be easiest for me to maintain long-term. A lightweight local database such as SQLite or SQL Server Express is fine, as long as backup and restore are simple.

Deliverables

2. Source code with brief build instructions
3. Short user guide that shows how to add data and run the analytics

Acceptance criteria
• Application installs without additional paid dependencies
• Entered sample data appears correctly in all reports
