I have a fiction manuscript that needs to make the jump from raw pages to a clean, publication-ready file. Your role is twofold: first, accurately type the entire manuscript into Microsoft Word (or Google Docs if you prefer), and then proofread the text in the same pass—catching spelling errors, grammar slips, punctuation issues, and any inconsistencies in tense or character details.

I’ll supply the source material as scanned PDFs. When you return the file, please deliver:

• A fully typed document, formatted in standard manuscript style (12-pt Times New Roman, double-spaced, one-inch margins).
• A second copy of that document with Track Changes showing every correction you’ve made, so I can review your edits at a glance.

If you spot anything unclear—illegible handwriting, plot contradictions, or word choice oddities—flag it with a brief comment. Accuracy and respect for my voice are crucial; I want the prose to shine without losing its personality.

Let me know your turnaround time for roughly 80,000 words, and include a short note on the proofreading tools or style guides you usually rely on (e.g., Grammarly, Chicago Manual). I’m ready to move quickly once I find the right fit.
