Fantasy Friendship Story for Toddlers

I’m putting together a picture book for preschoolers (ages 3–5) and need a writer who can spin a gentle fantasy-adventure that celebrates friendship and teamwork. The language must be simple enough for a read-aloud session yet imaginative enough to spark young listeners’ curiosity. Think lovable creatures, a touch of magic, clear stakes, and a satisfying resolution that shows how working together saves the day.

You’ll guide the tale from initial outline right through to a polished manuscript, sprinkling in vivid scene cues that an illustrator can easily translate to the page. I’ll handle illustration decisions later, so concise art notes are welcome but not mandatory.

Deliverables
• Complete original manuscript, age-appropriate in tone and length for a 32-page picture book
• Two or three catchy title options and a short back-cover blurb
• Basic page-break or scene suggestions to aid layout

Acceptance criteria
• Story centers on a clear, age-appropriate conflict resolved through teamwork
• Vocabulary suited to emerging readers (simple sentences, rhythmic read-aloud flow)
• No AI-generated or recycled plots—everything must be unique and exclusively mine upon delivery
