I want to bring to life a secure, family-focused application that runs beautifully on iOS, Android, and the web. Its heart is a digital legacy vault where every generation can safely save photos, videos, and heartfelt voice stories. Alongside that, the same space should double as our private hub, complete with a shared calendar so birthdays, reunions, and trips are never missed.
Two non-negotiables guide the build:
1. Ownership first: once a memory is uploaded, the family keeps access to it forever—even if they stop paying. The subscription only unlocks fresh uploads and future premium features.
2. True privacy: end-to-end encryption, granular sharing controls, and the option to download or export data at any time (eventually into printed books, digital albums, or memorial sites).
Initial feature set for the MVP
• Cross-platform vault for photo & video uploads, plus voice notes and stories.
• Unified family calendar with reminders and simple invite flows.
I’m open to your choice of stack—whether that’s Flutter, React Native with a web front end, or another approach—as long as it delivers a consistent experience across the three platforms and scales easily. A lightweight admin panel and a straightforward Stripe or in-app purchase layer for subscriptions will be needed as well.
Acceptance criteria
• Single codebase powering iOS, Android, and web releases.
• Zero-knowledge encryption for stored media.
• Offline access to previously downloaded memories.
• Clear separation between free perpetual storage access and paid upload features.
• Deployment to App Store, Google Play, and a cloud host for the web app.
