Project Description:
We are looking for an expert consultant or engineer in the wood pellet manufacturing industry utilizing radiata pine biomass. Candidates must have proven technical and industrial experience in the design, optimization, and operation of pelletizing plants.
The main objective is to receive specialized technical consulting for the development and implementation of an efficient, high-quality production line.
Key Areas of Consulting:
Biomass Conditioning and Drying:
Selection and optimization of drying systems (rotary drum dryers, belt dryers, etc.) specifically suited for radiata pine.
Control and management of the optimal moisture content for pelletization.
Proper particle sizing, grinding, and chipping of the raw material.
Production Lines and Machinery:
Selection of core machinery (pellet mills, coolers, screeners, packaging systems).
Evaluation of production capacity and plant layout design.
Management of natural resins and lignin in radiata pine during the pressing process.
Quality and Operational Efficiency:
Pellet quality standards (ISO 17225-2, ENplus A1/A2).
Energy efficiency in the drying and pressing lines.
Preventive maintenance for dies, rollers, and key equipment.
