I am an international medical student currently completing my clinical training in China, with an expected graduation date of July 2027. I am seeking an experienced medical researcher to collaborate with me on a clinically relevant, potentially publishable research project in cardiology, neurology, or the intersection of both fields.

My primary interest is clinical research exploring disease mechanisms, diagnostic challenges, and clinically meaningful associations. I am looking for an experienced researcher who can guide me throughout the research process, from identifying a promising research question to preparing and submitting a manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal.

Scope of Work

1. Research Topic Discovery and Refinement

* Identify at least three promising research topics based on current scientific literature.
* Explain the rationale, existing knowledge gaps, potential novelty, and clinical significance of each topic.
* Recommend feasible study designs and appropriate target journals.
* Consider the available time and resources to ensure the selected project is achievable before graduation.

2. Research Proposal and Protocol Development

* Develop a structured research proposal and detailed study protocol.
* Refine the research question, objectives, hypotheses, and methodology.
* Determine appropriate sample-size calculations and statistical methods.
* Help prepare the documentation required for faculty review and institutional ethics approval.

3. Research Execution and Data Analysis

* Provide ongoing methodological guidance throughout the project.
* Advise on feasible data sources, including hospital-based patient data, multicenter collaborations, or suitable open-access datasets.
* Assist with statistical analysis using SPSS, R, Stata, or other appropriate software.
* Support the interpretation of findings and preparation of publication-quality tables and figures.

4. Manuscript Development and Submission

* Collaboratively develop a complete scientific manuscript suitable for peer-reviewed journal submission.
* Assist with the abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and references.
* Prepare a journal-specific cover letter and provide guidance on the submission process.
* Offer support with revisions and responses to peer reviewers where possible.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should ideally have:

* Demonstrable experience in clinical research, particularly in cardiology, neurology, clinical epidemiology, or translational medical research.
* A record of peer-reviewed publications, preferably original clinical research.
* Experience in research design, statistical analysis, and scientific writing.
* Familiarity with research ethics and clinical research reporting guidelines.
* Previous experience mentoring medical students or early-career researchers.

Please include your relevant publications, research experience, preferred statistical software, and proposed approach when applying.

Deliverables and Timeline

* Within the first two weeks: At least three differentiated, evidence-informed research topic options.
* Following topic selection: A structured research proposal and protocol ready for faculty review and the relevant ethics submission.
* During project execution: Ongoing research guidance, data analysis, and manuscript development.
* By March 2027: A complete, submission-ready manuscript, allowing time for potential revisions before my expected graduation in July 2027.

The timeline will depend on the selected research design, data availability, and ethics approval requirements.

Budget and Collaboration

Please provide your proposed fee, estimated timeline, and preferred working arrangement. I welcome proposals that clearly outline the services included at each stage of the project.

I am seeking genuine research collaboration and mentorship rather than a paper-writing service. Research integrity, accurate reporting, appropriate authorship, and compliance with institutional ethics requirements are essential. Authorship will reflect actual scholarly contributions and applicable journal guidelines.

My goal is to produce a rigorous, clinically meaningful study that contributes to existing medical knowledge and establishes a strong foundation for my future academic and clinical research career.

I look forward to collaborating with a researcher who shares this vision.
