Experienced Mechanical / Trailer Design Engineer

Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced Trailer / Mechanical Design Engineer to create a complete 3D CAD model and manufacturing drawings for a heavy duty flatbed Semi-Trailer

Required Specifications & Requirements:

Trailer Type: Flatbed / Drop-Deck Semi-Trailer
we will use the semi trailer only for 2 type of load
1- is Steel Coil
2- is 20ft Container

Payload Capacity: 33 Ton

Coil Specifications: Max coil diameter 1.5 mm, max coil width 2000 mm, single max weight 33.5 Tons

Length: Not exceed 7 meters,
Width: Not exceed 2.45 meters.
Weight: Must not exceed 5 tons.
Axle: Tri-axle and Dual or single tires are acceptable
Suspension: Heavy Duty Assembly with Air or Mechanical Suspension are acceptable

Structure & Material: Main I or H Beam chassis designed using high-tensile steel (e.g., S355 / Domex / Strenx) to withstand concentrated point loads.

Deliverables Required from the Designer:

Full 3D And 2D CAD Assembly Files

FEA (Finite Element Analysis) & Structural Calculation Report: Stress, deflection, and safety factor under max concentrated coil load.

Full set of 2D Manufacturing / Shop Drawings (PDF & DXF/DWG for CNC laser cutting) with BOM (Bill of Materials).

Lashing & Securing Point arrangement according to cargo securing standards (EN 12640 / ISO).

Requirements for Applicants:

Proven portfolio of trailer design or heavy vehicle chassis engineering.

Deep understanding of structural FEA and local axle load regulations.
