I need a clean, single-cell (or concise multi-cell, if unavoidable) formula that lets me run a repeatable data-analysis task on an existing worksheet. Once the formula is in place I should be able to drop fresh data into the sheet and have the calculation update automatically without touching anything else.
You will receive a sample workbook so you can see the current layout and the exact columns involved. Your job is to:
• Build the formula(s) in native Excel—no VBA or add-ins.
• Test on the sample file and return the workbook with the working solution.
• Add a short, in-cell comment or a brief note that explains the logic so I can tweak it later if my dataset grows.
Acceptance criteria
1. Formula returns the correct result for every row in the sample file.
2. Works in Excel 365 and maintains compatibility down to Excel 2016.
3. No volatile functions unless clearly justified.
If this fits your skill set, grab the sheet from me, plug in the formula, and send the updated file back for verification.
