Excel Database Data Entry

I have a collection of spreadsheet files that hold both text and numerical information. Your task is to move this mixed data into a well-structured Excel workbook that will serve as the backbone for my internal database.

Accuracy is paramount—I need every figure, date, name, and note transcribed exactly as it appears, with consistent formatting so the sheet is ready for immediate import into our system. I will supply the source files and a template that shows the desired column order, data types, and any validation rules already in place.

Please work exclusively in Microsoft Excel, taking advantage of features such as data validation, conditional formatting, and basic formulas to flag inconsistencies as you go. When you finish, return the completed workbook along with a short log that notes any ambiguities or possible errors you encountered.
