Excel Data Analysis & SQL Design

I need a specialist who can help me pull raw data into Excel, shape it there for meaningful insight, and back it with a solid SQL Server database structure.
Here is what I’m after:
• Excel support focused purely on data analysis—no heavy VBA automation or fancy dashboards, just clear-cut number crunching that lets me interrogate trends straight from the worksheet. Most of the heavy lifting will rely on SQL logic, so experience writing queries that feed seamlessly into Excel (Power Query or direct connections) is essential.
• On the SQL Server side, I want a clean database design. Tables, keys, indexing strategy, and data types all need to be thought through so that downstream analysis in Excel stays fast and reliable. While my immediate priority is the design itself, I’m open to your advice on how that design could later scale for optimisation or migration if the dataset grows.
Deliverables
1. ERD and script to create the SQL Server schema.
2. A working Excel file connected to that schema, demonstrating the agreed analytical use cases.
3. Brief hand-off notes explaining connection steps and any assumptions.
I’ll test the work by restoring the database, refreshing the workbook, and validating that the results match sample figures I’ll provide. If everything lines up and refresh times stay snappy, we’re done.
