## Electronics Engineer Needed in Namibia – ESP32 IoT Device Debugging
I am looking for an **Electronics / Embedded Systems Engineer or experienced Electronics Engineering student based in Namibia** to help troubleshoot and fix an ESP32-based IoT device.
### About the Device
The device includes:
* ESP32
* Custom PCB
* Li-ion/LiPo battery and charging circuit
* Power management circuitry
* Sensors
* TFT/OLED display
* RS485 communication
* Embedded firmware
### What I Need
The selected person will need to **physically inspect and test the device** and identify the root cause of the hardware issue.
The work may include:
* PCB hardware debugging
* Power rail and voltage measurements
* Battery/charging circuit troubleshooting
* ESP32 power and boot debugging
* Sensor and communication troubleshooting
* Display/power-related fault diagnosis
* Checking components, soldering and PCB connections
* Identifying the root cause of intermittent failures
* Suggesting and implementing hardware modifications where required
* Testing the device after the repair
### Required Skills
Experience with some of the following is preferred:
* ESP32
* Embedded systems
* Custom PCB debugging
* Electronics troubleshooting
* Li-ion/LiPo battery circuits
* Power management
* RS485
* Sensors
* SPI/I2C/UART
* Soldering and PCB rework
* Multimeter
* Oscilloscope
* Bench power supply
### Location Requirement
**You must currently be located in Namibia**, preferably around **Windhoek**, because the physical device may need to be inspected and tested.
Electronics engineering students with strong practical experience are also welcome to apply.
