Entry-Level WordPress Digital Store Setup

I need a junior WordPress developer to spin up a simple e-commerce site focused on selling digital products. WooCommerce (or a comparable plugin) will handle the product catalog and downloads, but the main task is getting the foundation in place rather than heavy custom coding.

The look and feel must stay modern and clean—lightweight theme, intuitive navigation, and responsive layouts. The only must-have feature at launch is a working customer-review section so buyers can leave feedback under each digital item. Payment gateway setup and advanced download management can remain at their default settings for now; we can revisit those later once the core shop is live.

You’ll start from a fresh WordPress install on my hosting, select an appropriate free or low-cost theme, configure WooCommerce for digital goods, add one sample product, and verify that reviews display correctly on both product and backend screens.

Deliverables
• WordPress & WooCommerce installed and configured for digital products
• Modern, clean theme activated and lightly branded (logo, colors, fonts)
• One sample product uploaded with functional download link
• Customer-review feature enabled and tested

I’m keeping this project intentionally small so an entry-level developer can handle it confidently. If the collaboration goes well, there will be follow-up work for extra features and content.
