Enhance Voices in Two Audios

I have two short recordings that mean a lot to me, but right now the voices—both male and female—sound distant and muddy. Online “one-click” cleanup tools didn’t get them anywhere near the clarity I’m after, so I need a skilled audio engineer who can treat these files with real care.

Here’s what I’m facing: background hiss, a touch of rumble, and the general lack of definition that comes from a phone mic in a noisy room. I’d like every spoken word to feel as if the people are in the same room with us, warm and intelligible, without introducing metallic artifacts or that “underwater” sound cheap filters create. You’re free to use your preferred toolset—iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, Reaper with surgical EQ, spectral denoise, de-reverb, whatever gives the best result—as long as the final sound is clearly better than any automatic service.

Acceptance criteria
The dialogue must be easily understood on standard phone earbuds at half volume, free from obvious noise, pumping, or digital artifacts.
