** Security and Citizenship Requirements:Applicants must be U.S. citizen and must be willing to complete security clearance processing, including fingerprinting **Global Language Strategies is seeking a qualified freelance linguist to provide English-to-Polish legal translation and/or editing services. This is an ongoing, as-needed contract opportunity for experienced professionals with strong legal terminology skills, excellent written accuracy, and the ability to deliver high-quality work remotely.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of professional experience providing legal translation and/or editing services.

Native-level Polish and English writing skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. legal, judicial, and technical terminology in English and Polish.

Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language, linguistics, translation, or a comparable field.

Experience using computer-assisted translation tools; Trados experience is preferred.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Availability:

Candidates should generally be available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on most weekdays and able to accept on-demand assignments totaling approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, as needed.
