English Handwriting Transcription Project

I have a collection of images containing handwritten English documents that must be converted into clean, editable text. Every word on each page needs to be transcribed exactly as it appears, preserving original spelling, punctuation, and line breaks where practical so the digital version mirrors the source.

Image quality varies slightly, but all pages are legible; the primary challenge is ensuring character-perfect accuracy and consistent formatting across the whole set. I will supply the scanned images in batches and expect the completed transcriptions returned in either Word or plain-text format, clearly labelled to match the original file names.

Accuracy is paramount: I will spot-check at least 10 % of the output, and an error rate above 1 % will require revision. Please be comfortable working solely in English handwriting and following any small style notes I include with each batch.

If you have questions about any unclear mark or abbreviation, flag it in the file so I can verify the correct wording.
