End-to-End Event Commerce Platform

I am building an all-in-one commerce infrastructure for the hospitality, weddings and events sector. The platform must let venues and vendors sell, manage and fulfil bookings while giving clients a seamless buying experience.

Core functionalities that must be rock-solid
• Booking management
• Vendor management
• Payment processing

Within booking management the following components are critical and should be available from day one:
• Calendar & real-time availability (Google Calendar sync)
• Quotation / RFQ workflow that converts directly into digital contracts

Beyond those pillars, the roadmap includes a public marketplace, SaaS dashboards for vendors, workflow automation, full CRM, digital contracts, split payments with automated vendor payouts, customer and event management, analytics and AI-assisted planning tools. Every module has to speak to each other through a clean, well-documented API so that future mobile apps or third-party integrations are straightforward.

Deliverables
1. Responsive web application (React or similar) connected to a scalable backend (Node.js, Django or equivalent)
2. PCI-compliant payment layer supporting split payments and scheduled vendor payouts
3. Admin, vendor and customer portals with role-based access
4. Google Calendar integration for instant availability updates
5. Quotation → contract → payment flow that logs every step for auditability
6. Initial analytics dashboard (bookings volume, revenue share, vendor performance)

Acceptance criteria
• A venue can list inventory, set availability and receive bookings without manual intervention.
• A customer can request a quote, receive a digital contract and pay online in one session.
• Funds are split automatically: platform fee, vendor payout and any taxes are disbursed according to configurable rules.
• Updating availability in Google Calendar reflects instantly on the marketplace calendar.
• All data exchanges occur via documented REST/GraphQL endpoints with 90%+ unit-test coverage.
