**Project Title: Build a Production-Ready iOS and Android App for an Existing Language-Learning Platform**

We are seeking an experienced mobile app development company or established team to design, develop, test, and launch the student mobile application for **eloquio**, an instructor-led language-learning platform with an existing production web application and backend.

This is not a concept-stage project. The selected company will work with our existing platform, backend services, brand identity, and initial mobile repository to deliver a polished, production-ready app for both iOS and Android.

### Preferred Technology

The primary proposal must use:

* React Native with Expo
* TypeScript
* Expo Router
* EAS Build and Submit
* One maintainable codebase for iOS and Android
* Native mobile interfaces rather than WebView-based core functionality

The application must integrate with our existing Supabase infrastructure, including authentication, database, storage, realtime services, and Edge Functions. Rebuilding or replacing the backend is not part of the project.

### Main Scope

The first release is a student-only application covering approximately **27 navigable screens and 35–40 design surfaces**.

Core functionality includes:

* Email, Google, and Apple authentication
* Email verification, password recovery, and persistent sessions
* Student dashboard and enrolled courses
* Course catalog, search, and course information
* Free-course and course-code enrollment
* Access to previously purchased courses
* Course overview and lesson navigation
* Reading, video, audio, and downloadable lesson resources
* Multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, open-answer, listening, translation, speaking/voice-recording, and matching activities
* Assignments, submissions, and instructor feedback
* Notes and flashcards
* Learning progress, history, achievements, and badges where supported
* Student-to-instructor messaging
* In-app and push notifications
* Profile, settings, account closure, support, and legal links
* Loading, empty, error, retry, permission, and limited-connectivity states

The application must support:

* English
* Spanish
* Arabic
* French
* German
* Brazilian Portuguese

Full right-to-left layout support is required for Arabic.

### Design Requirements

The selected company will adapt eloquio’s existing design system into a premium mobile experience that feels modern, friendly, engaging, and easy to use.

The project includes:

* Mobile UX planning and user flows
* High-fidelity designs in editable Figma
* Reusable mobile component library and design tokens
* Interactive prototype for important flows
* Responsive layouts for supported phone sizes
* Accessibility-conscious typography, navigation, contrast, and touch targets
* Consistent native behavior on both iOS and Android

Our existing branding, colors, typography direction, and product references will be provided to shortlisted bidders.

### Not Included in Version 1

The following are outside the initial scope:

* Instructor or administrator mobile experiences
* Course-authoring tools
* Instructor analytics, earnings, or payouts
* In-app Stripe payments
* Apple or Google in-app purchases
* Full offline lesson or media downloads
* Tablet-specific layouts
* Rebuilding the existing backend

Course purchasing will remain web-based. The mobile app will allow students to access courses they already own and enroll in eligible free or code-based courses.

### Expected Deliverables

* Approved UX flows and high-fidelity Figma designs
* Complete React Native/Expo source code
* Continuous delivery of code to a client-owned repository
* Integration with the existing staging backend
* Automated testing for critical workflows
* Internal iOS and Android builds
* TestFlight and Google Play testing releases
* Production-ready App Store and Google Play builds
* Assistance with store submission through initial approval
* Architecture, setup, configuration, testing, and release documentation
* Complete technical handover
* Minimum 60-day post-launch defect warranty

All source code, designs, documentation, and project-specific intellectual property will become the property of eloquio upon payment.

### Estimated Timeline

We expect a production-ready Version 1 within approximately **9–12 weeks**, excluding delays caused by app-store review.

Proposals should provide a milestone-based timeline covering:

1. Discovery and technical validation
2. UX flows and visual design
3. Core application development
4. Learning activities and advanced features
5. Localization, accessibility, testing, and optimization
6. Beta distribution and store submission
7. Handover and warranty support

### Proposal Requirements

Please provide:

* Company profile and location
* Names and roles of the proposed team members
* Relevant React Native and Expo experience
* Links to mobile apps your team has released on both app stores
* Experience integrating with Supabase
* Detailed fixed-price quotation broken down by milestone
* Proposed timeline and staffing plan
* Testing and quality-assurance approach
* Warranty and ongoing maintenance options
* Assumptions, exclusions, and third-party recurring costs
* Two relevant client references, if available

Generic proposals, WebView-wrapper solutions, and proposals without relevant mobile examples will not be considered.
