I’m looking for an experienced Android developer to build a grocery delivery application from the ground up. The app should run smoothly on Android phones and tablets, guiding a customer from product browsing all the way to order confirmation and delivery.

At minimum, the flow needs to cover browsing a live catalogue, adding items to a cart, scheduling or requesting immediate delivery, and checking out securely. I’m open to your recommendations on tech stack—whether that’s native Kotlin, Java, or a cross-platform framework that still produces a polished Android build. Clean architecture, modular code, and thorough inline documentation are very important because my in-house team will take over maintenance once the project is live.

Please include examples of previous Android apps you have shipped—ideally in grocery, food, or parcel delivery—along with a brief outline of how you would handle location services, payments, and push notifications.

Deliverables
• Full Android source code in a Git repo
• Release-ready APK (Play Store compliant)
• README with build and deployment instructions
• Short hand-off session to walk through the codebase and answer questions

Share your estimated timeline, any third-party services you’d integrate, and the milestones you suggest so we can get this project underway quickly.
