Educational Video Hook Testing to Grow Audience

Each video I produce needs at least six alternative hooks so we can discover which opening grabs viewers best on Instagram Reels and TikTok. You will take the videos, publish one version per day in a pre-agreed calendar, then track the results inside a shared Google Sheet.

Primary metrics are reach, average watch time, retention at 3 s / 10 s, likes, saves, comments and new-follower lift. Pull the numbers directly from Instagram Insights and TikTok Analytics and log them after each post goes live. At the end of every week add a short note highlighting the winning hook, what seems to resonate, and one concrete recommendation for the next round of videos.

Acceptance criteria:
• Six or more clearly labeled hook variants published per video
• Posts live on the correct day and platform with captions/hashtags
• Spreadsheet updated and accurate; no missing data points
• Weekly summary delivered by Monday 10 AM my time
